All over the world people are using innovative tactics to help end human rights abuses. In many cases other human rights advocates would benefit from learning about their experiences.

The New Tactics database is a collection of these tactics, described in in a way that we hope will inspire other human rights advocates to apply them to their own situations. You can search the database for a particular type of tactic, or just browse through to get an idea of the breadth of work being done.

Please note that this is a limited prototype of the database. Over the next few months we will be continuously expanding its scope. And we need your help to do this! Use the Share a Tactic form to tell us about creative human rights efforts. Or send us an e-mail at NewTactics.org to give us suggestions on the database itself.
